Scrap metal purchasing

When handing over scrap metal, an identity document, bank account number, and contact information must be provided. A purchase delivery note is prepared on site and signed by both parties.

Payment is made only by bank transfer, and the necessary documents are prepared on site.

• For private individuals, a purchase–sale agreement is drawn up, based on which payment is made within a few hours after signing the documents (the exact time depends on bank transfers). To conclude the agreement, an identity document and your bank account number are required.
• For companies, a purchase invoice–delivery note is prepared upon handing over scrap metal, based on which the company can issue a counter-invoice. If the company has a valid cooperation agreement with Baltimet Recycling OÜ, payment for the scrap metal is made without waiting for a separate counter-invoice.
